This is the one to use if anything on this site looks wrong to you.

Anything that looks wrong is the most useful thing you can send: a number that doesn’t reconcile, a date that behaves oddly, a screen that disagrees with itself. Specifics help enormously — the market, the selection you had chosen, and what you expected to see instead. A number of ours that you cannot make add up is worth more to us than a compliment.

Questions about method are equally welcome. If something here is unclear enough that you had to ask, the explanation needs improving, and knowing which part lost you is how that gets fixed.

What we can’t do is tell you what to trade. We can explain exactly how a number was computed and what it does and doesn’t support; we can’t turn that into advice about your money. That line is the same one the rest of this section is drawn along.

Much of that explaining is already written down. Reading the numbers works through every statistic in the app from scratch — the formula, then the same calculation done on real market data. If your question is “where did this number come from”, the answer is probably there already, and if it isn’t, that gap is worth telling us about.
