Terms of use
The short version: use it honestly, and do not treat it as financial advice.
This is research, not advice
Celestial Market Lens measures what markets did around historical planetary events. That is a description of the past. It is not a prediction, not a recommendation, and not investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Past results do not tell you what will happen next, and you are responsible for anything you do with money.
Who we are
Celestial Market Lens is a small, independent project — not a broker, not a research house, and not registered as an investment adviser anywhere.
Who may use this
You must be 18 or older. Sign-up asks for your date of birth and turns away anyone younger, so this is a rule we enforce rather than a box you tick. You also need to be legally able to agree to these terms where you live. One account per person. If you are using the site on behalf of a company, you are confirming you may agree to this on its behalf.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself, and give us a real email address so we can reach you about the account. You are responsible for what happens under your login. We send a verification link to that address when you sign up, and use it to send account-related messages like a password reset — use an address you will keep.
How you stay signed in
Your sign-in tokens are kept in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie. Anyone with access to your browser profile can therefore use your session until it expires, so sign out on shared or public machines. Clearing your browser data signs you out.
What you post
You keep ownership of what you write in the community. By posting it here you give us permission to display it on the site.
Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, or that impersonates someone else; do not post other people’s private information; and do not use the community to spam or to promote a scheme. There is no moderation queue yet, so if something needs taking down, please tell us and we will look at it.
Any image you attach to a post is stored with a third-party storage provider and is readable by anyone who has its link, whether or not they have an account here. Do not upload anything you would mind a stranger seeing.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.
Fair use of the service
The site enforces rate limits, and they are there to keep it affordable to run rather than to inconvenience you. Please do not scrape the site, bulk-export the research output, run automated harvesting against it, or resell or redistribute the data. Do not create extra accounts to get around a limit.
The underlying calculations and the way results are put together are the part of this we actually built. Reading them on the site is the point; copying them out wholesale is not.
Accounts, plans and payment
Everything on the site is free today. If paid plans arrive, the price and terms will be shown before you are asked to pay, and an existing free account will never be silently converted into a paid one.
Availability, and how wrong the data can be
The service is provided as-is. We are a small operation: things may break, and we may change or stop features.
More importantly for how you read the numbers: the price history and planetary data come from third-party sources. They may be incomplete, delayed, or simply wrong; coverage varies by market and by period; and results are recomputed as the underlying data changes, so a figure you saw last month may not be the figure you see today. We do not guarantee uptime or accuracy.
Ending your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time through the contact form. There is no self-serve delete button yet. Deleting an account removes it along with the posts and comments made from it. Messages you sent us through the contact form may be kept as a record of the conversation and for dealing with abuse.
We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules. A suspended account is signed out immediately and cannot sign back in.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for any trading or investment losses, or for any decision you make using this site. The service is provided without warranty of any kind, including that it will be available, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose.
Nothing here is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially we will say so on the site rather than quietly editing the page.
